MWI Speaker Series: Tom Sanderson – How to Understand Transnational Threats

November 8 @ 12:35 pm - 1:50 pm

Today’s complicated global operating environment impedes the deliberate assessments and planning required not only by states and their military forces, but also by private actors like corporations, as well as individuals and a wide range of institutions. In this MWI Speaker Series event, Tom Sanderson will explore these challenges and how they can best be understood.

Sanderson’s insights are based on his deep experiences in a variety of capacities. He currently provides field-based, global risk assessments and advisory services to government, academic, media, and private-sector clients. He previously served as senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he co-founded, co-directed, and led the Transnational Threats Project from 2002 to 2017.
