Nonresident Fellow

Austin C. Doctor is an assistant professor of political science at the University of Nebraska Omaha and a member of the executive committee for the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center, a Department of Homeland Security Center of Excellence. His work focuses on the causes and consequences of terrorism and political violence, armed conflict, and political instability with a regional focus on sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a PhD from the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia.
