Maj. Jessica C. Caddell is an instructor of Defense and Strategic Studies at the US Military Academy. Jessica’s past assignments include deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, Commander of the Intelligence and Sustainment Company, 101st Airborne Division, and Battalion Intelligence Officer for 2-506 Infantry Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Currahee).
Maj. David Danford is an instructor of Defense and Strategic Studies at the US Military Academy. He earned his Master of Arts in Politics from Hillsdale College and his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the US Military Academy. He has deployed three times in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
Maj. Zachary Griffiths is a Special Forces officer and American Politics Instructor in the Department of Social Sciences at West Point. He studies how insurgent groups relate to the water. He holds a master’s of public policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy.
Maj. Ryan Leach is an instructor of Defense and Strategic Studies at the US Military Academy. Prior to his assignment to West Point, Ryan earned his Master of Arts in Military History from Texas A&M University. Ryan has served as a company commander, brigade intelligence officer, civil-military operations officer, assistant operations officer, and platoon leader.
Dr. Robert Person is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the US Military Academy and director of West Point’s curriculum in International Affairs. A specialist on Russian and post-Soviet politics and foreign policy, he holds a PhD in political science from Yale University and an MA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from Stanford University.
