Graham Parsons is associate professor of philosophy in the Department of English and Philosophy. He was previously a fellow at the European University Institute. His work focuses on the history of the philosophy of war and peace, and the intersection of culture and the ethics of war. He is especially interested in the role of gender and race in military ethics. He is the co-editor with Mark Wilson of Walzer and War: Reading Just and Unjust Wars Today (Palgrave) and How to End a War: Essays on Peace, Justice, and Repair (Cambridge University Press).
