Hi friends, fastidious post and fastidious urging commented at this place, I am truly enjoying by these.|
Although I agree with the USAF LtCol, there are other items to explore. The LtCol is viewing military service as it was when he was serving and as it was when I was serving. Times have changed, including in the civilian job market. There isn’t any such things as entitlements anymore, very rare are the companies giving retirement benefits other than matching funds. Although the medical benefits have been eroded, they are still better than most in the civilian sector. I know people paying upward $1000.00 a month for family medical coverage. Commissary, unfortunately you can beat the prices at Wall-Mart. However, with all that said, I wholeheartedly agree with the LtCol when he says this President and Congress are neutering the American military. I believe they could have done more for the military regarding pay and benefits, but I think strong supporters had to compromise, and the military took it in the shorts. No matter what they say, military service isn’t corporate America and the pay and benefits shouldn’t be aligned with corporate America. AS Donald Trump says…”that is stupid.”
