In this episode of the MWI Podcast, John Amble speaks with Dr. Amy Kruse, the chief scientific officer at the Platypus Institute, an organization that takes some of the most cutting-edge developments in the field of neuroscience and explores how they can be turned into practical programs that enhance human performance. During the conversation, she discusses “Human 2.0,” something she describes as a vision of where we are headed as humans, especially in terms of cognitive performance. She also describes how that vision overlays on the cognitive demands of war, and how those cognitive demands might change as the character of warfare changes.

Greetings,
My name is Anna and I have a strong interest in transhumanism and the technology involved, especially considering its potential application as far as the space program and adaptating to climate change. While this technology is still in a relative infancy, I think it’s growth will occur faster than most believe, perhaps on an exponential level. With that being said, I’m hoping to migrate away from my current career path so I can participate in the development and possible rollout of said transhumanist tech. I spent over six years as an intelligence analyst and while delightfully cerebral, my contributions were not satisfying in the grand scheme of things.
What I am hoping to accomplish is to gather enough information that I can steer my life and efforts towards contributing to this field, possibly as a researcher, especially as a test subject. Just as I desired to serve my country as a member of the armed forces, I want to serve humanity in the development of the aforementioned technology.
Any information that can assist me on my journey would be appreciated.
Respectfully,
Anna Rose Pike
