The Modern War Institute sat down with Sebastian Junger to discuss his witness to combat in the Korengal Valley of Afghanistan and his new book “Tribe: On  Homecoming and Belonging.”  Interviewed by Cadet Mitchell Magill, Junger discusses war, some of the factors of casualties as he saw them in Afghanistan, and integrating soldiers back into society.  Junger focused heavily on the veterans town hall concept and how soldiers support one another after they return.
